This camp was all about the potential of paper as an art tool. I had never done Stop-Motion Animation (SMA) before and I was terrified that we wouldn't finish on time. BUT I did not know that I was working with one of the best groups of 8-10 year olds around. ^_^
We used a hole in the table to film through onto the floor. It worked great! |
We spent the first day designing movable characters with brass brads and paper. They also made stationary background characters and scenery and figured out a script.
Planning was so important! We had to plan for at least 1 hour before we were allowed to start working. |
