3rd grade focused on radial symmetry with these Mexican mirror collages. We viewed many examples of Mexican folk art, especially the mirrors. We discussed radial symmetry and how to create radial symmetry in our artwork. We started by drawing with markers on TruRay paper then used Sharpies to create a design on aluminum foil for the middle. Love how bright these are and how awesome they turned out!
